Frequently Asked Questions
Clarity, up front.
Answers to the questions credit union managers, operations leads, and IT teams ask first.
What is the CDI Vision Suite?
The CDI Vision Suite is an integrated software platform built for credit unions. It combines fifteen-plus modules covering document management, workflow automation, records management, Check 21 image clearing, ATM and mobile deposit capture, and electronic signature capture into a single deployment, with native support for Laserfiche and Symitar SymXchange.
Which clearing institutions does CDI's Check 21 software support?
CDI's C21 Forward generates ICL files for more than twenty clearing institutions out of the box, including the Federal Reserve Bank, Alloya, Catalyst, Corporate One, EasCorp, Chase, Bank of America, Comerica, Citizens Bank, and Corporate America Family Credit Union. Branch numbers, deposit-slip paths, and teller lookup files can be configured per institution.
Does the Vision Suite integrate with Symitar?
Yes. CDI's SymXchange Integration for Laserfiche Workflow ships as a set of drop-in workflow activities that retrieve and update Symitar account-record fields directly from Laserfiche Workflow Designer, with no custom code required. SymXchange API access must be purchased separately from Symitar.
What signature pads are supported?
Branch eSign and Teller Receipts support Topaz and Wacom signature pads, including the Wacom multi-pad. Fingerprint biometric capture is supported through the DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500.
How are records retained and audited?
Every Vision Suite module archives into a single Laserfiche repository with consistent templates, retention schedules, and Records Management cutoff instructions. Report View Server auto-indexes thousands of PDFs, text reports, and statements per hour and applies retention rules at the project level.
How does a credit union request a Vision Suite demo or quote?
